Once again the Deal show has come around and it hardly seems like a year has passed since the last one. Deal is an annual 3 day event for the entertainment and games industry, by far the biggest event of its kind in the Middle East. Deal showcases the latest, most inspring and amusing products and services from across the world.

In the past Magna Amusements has had a prominent presence at Deal and this year is no different. This year we will be showcasing our recently completed work in Homs, Damacus and Abu Dhabi. At the same time we will be offering a preview into our forthcoming FEC's too.

We will also be happy to meet with visitors and demonstrate the concepts and strategies that make Magna Amusements 1st for Amusements in the Middle East.

Merit Entertainment's Megatouch Aurora made the headlines in the Middle East recently when Talal Al-Waines, general manager of Megatouch KSA, was invited to appear on the popular show, Ya Halla, to discuss the "edutainment" features of the product.

The show covered the many ways in which Arab youth can enhance their reflexes, memory power and IQ by playing on a Megatouch. The programme introduced the Aurora into millions of Middle Eastern homes and emphasised how the machines are customised to embrace Arabic culture.

"Because of cultural differences, we don't feature games that may be inappropriate" said Al-Waines. The product was also featured alongside other Merit products on the Megatouch Middle East/Magna Amusements booth at the recent Deal show.

Since it's inception in 1994, The Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Show is the international trade event for the Middle East region.

The article concentrates on our touchscreen machines and how the highly successful Megatouch Aurora is replacing traditional games such as backgammon in Middle Eastern shisha cafes.

The ATEI trade show, at Earls Court London , is one of the industry's leading international exhibitions, true to form ATEI 2008 was a big, international event with exhibitors from diverse product sectors.

Exhibiting for the first time in 2008, Magna Amusements focussed on its full service for FECs projects, showcasing an impressive and comprehensive portfolio of completed centres.

"A good barometer of the global market, there was definitely the feeling optimism at the 2008 show which also provided the perfect forum for Magna to catch up with European clients and colleagues, as well as the opportunity to network internationally. We are seriously considering exhibiting again in 2009" said Rania Laing, Vice-President of Magna Amusements.

Magna Amusements were one of 200 international exhibitors from 32 countries to exhibit at the Dubai Entertainment Amusement Leisure Show 2007.
